The Big Sheep

The Big Sheep is one of the most beloved attractions in the North Devon area. Frequented by both locals and tourists alike, it’s best known not just for its rides, soft play and animal attractions, but the festivals it hosts throughout the year. We were proud to partner together throughout 2024 to advertise some of these events on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and were super pleased with how these campaigns performed.

We ran a range of prospecting and remarketing campaigns to target both locals in North Devon as well as tourists visiting the area on the approach to key events. In targeting we used geographic and demographic data to pinpoint the right people for each specific event, as well as lookalike audiences from the brand’s existing fans. One of our most successful campaigns was Toddler Fest, which resulted in a 902.67% return on investment (tickets booked vs ad spend).

West Buckland School

West Buckland School is a reputable independent day and boarding school local to us in North Devon, though it attracts students from all over the world. We’ve been their marketing partner since 2017, and while we’ve worked together on a whole host of projects – we support with graphic design and we built their website – one of the major areas we assist with is digital advertising.

Over the years we’ve worked on all sorts of advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Spotify Ads, but one of the most effective marketing channels for West Buckland has been Meta – both Facebook and Instagram. We work on campaigns throughout the year, promoting various school events, the benefits of attending a school like WBS, availability in different year groups, and the boarding options the school offers.

One of the most exciting dates in West Buckland’s calendar is the Whole School Open Day, which occurs twice a year. This is normally where we will devote the most time, resources and budget. Being a private school, the conversion value* of these campaigns is extremely high, counting not just for one academic year but potentially that child’s whole education.
